Photography: I've been shooting since 2003, working on personal projects and freelance gigs that I find interesting. I've mainly focused on beauty work with models, photographing events and performances around New York City, and capturing scenes of everyday life. What you see on this site are excepts of my work, arranged in galleries and a blog format that is updated semi-regularly.
Background: Originally from the Hudson Valley in Upstate New York, I bounced around Europe, New York City, Los Angeles, then back to New York, where I've been living since early 2001. My education is in print journalism, but I've been employed on the technical side of the photo industry for the past 12 years, working for top photo agencies and nonprofit organizations.
Attitude: I try to maintain a fun, easy-going attitude toward photography. I don't take myself too seriously and I'm not trying to change the world through my work (at least not yet). That said, I am serious about the images I produce and have a professional attitude toward all jobs.
